I’m glad the game isn’t played on paper. Or am I? Metrics are all over the board. I hate to agree with Rink, but FSU prob does win 6/10 against us. However, we’ve lost to teams we should have beat 9-10 times. So, as long as there’s a chance (or not) it’s always Go Tigers! Let’s go shock the “experts!”

I know we haven't played the same level of teams but the remarkable similarity of these stats to-date is honestly fascinating.
Gonna be a big one in Death Valley again, I got Clemson by 2 scores.

Here's a few things to think about: By the numbers, Clemson has better rankings than FSU in most major categories especially on the defensive side of the ball (Rush Offense, Total Offense, Rush Defense, Pass Defense, Total Defense and Scoring Defense). Pass Offense numbers are pretty even and Scoring Offense numbers favor FSU by a TD. Sure it's still early in the season but the point here is FSU may not be as good as advertised especially on the defensive side of the ball. They are ranked 108th in Pass Defense (hint, hint) and Total Defense rank of 101st. Clemson's Total Defense ranks 8th and Passing Defense 9th. Rushing Defense is not too shabby ranking 34th to FSU's Rushing Defense of 64th. One can argue that Clemson has not played a good team yet but don't count Duke out just yet. They are not a push over. Duke boasts some pretty good numbers through 3 games. With the exception of LSU, FSU has not played a good team yet either and almost lost to BC whose offense and defense does not rank very high and BC lost to NIU in overtime and squeaked by Holy Cross 31-28. So don't give up. I don't think FSU is all that. I have Clemson winning by a nice margin, 43-21. Just saying!

Statistics have their value but it boils down to effort and ball security. Clemson CAN'T TURN THE BALL OVER like they did against Duke. It will depend on the offensive lines of both teams. Whoever plays the best will more than likely control the game and win.

I'm going to take a guess and say that small sample sizes in all that Dabo and Garrett was wanting to reveal of our new offense up until we play FSU, and a very small sample size is all that anybody has seen with the exception of the coaches and players. Go Tigers, beat FSU!!!
