I don’t get the hype for the SC LB. There are a lot better LB in the 2023 class. Granted SC has room for playing time so maybe that’s the reason. Don’t see this guy as overly talented. Solid D1 contributor is how I would described him.

… the media, how is 247 getting enough first-hand data to draw these sorts of conclusions?

The closest any of these guys has come to “live fire” in front of media is a controlled split squad spring scrimmage.

Most of what is “known” comes from coach-speak and SID releases.

It’ll be interesting to pull this list back up in a couple of years for re-evaluation.

I went into last season hoping the D-Line, super talented as it was, could reach the level of the Power Rangers line. Well it did not play out that way but surprises come in positive and negative ways. This line especially with a healthy XT on the edge has the potential to dominate! Good luck and God Bless! 247 recruit rankings question or questionable!??

These dummies have PWoo as a Freshman All-American, not questioning this at all, but why was he only a 4* rated 60th? They had Vic Burley rated higher a 5* and TJ Parker is rated higher and I think was 4*. But all the hype and talk is about PWoo, though in the article they mentioned TJ and Vic more as a side note of honorable mention. I think they both will be great but just expressing frustration about rankings. If PWoo committed to Bama, he would have been top 5 player in the nation and he probably is but just shows the bias, lack of genuine ranking instead of beauty contests.

I hope all three of these guys are All-American Freshman because our starters are sitting due to massive leads. Let's Go!
