I am guessing that is because we aren't as quick to run off players as they are.
This guy is definately an unknown right now and any offer is based mostly on his size and potential.
Since Clemson doesn't run players off, it is more of a gamble for a program such as ours to give out an offer before a kid has played even one down of an actual game.
Still, we need another lineman or two in this class.

"Regardless of who you are a fan of, Clemson is Clemson." I hope our coaches will see potential in this young man, he gets an offer and comes to Clemson. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't, but this is what recruits see: "Clemson is Clemson." Life is good for us, the future is bright and I like where we are in the Football Universe.

But, it sort of reminds me of the recent Ajou Ajou project.
Who knows? Hate to generalize, but since we probably only lose one OL after 2023, where does this fellow fit into our needs for 2024?
We’re in early on some good looking OL in the 2025 class who could help immediately.
We just have to trust Thomas Austin to make a thorough evaluation before pulling the trigger on a raw project with lots of apparent potential, but no experience.

Is it still a precondition for a Clemson offer being that the recruit must visit Clemson first?
