Honest to God, when I saw the above line in the article, I thought "Pate" was journalist-talk for Finebaum. I had no idea who Josh Pate is. I was thinking of Bald Pate (Finebaum). That's not a knock on Finebaum's looks, as baldness is a sign of high testosterone and virility, while oversized ears mean he's a good listener.
Ever read a news article about an earthquake, where they alternate calling it an "Earthquake" and a "Temblor"? An earthquake was detected off the coast of California today. The temblor measured 4.2 on the Richter scale and caused no injuries or property damage.
To me that was like interchanging Finebaum with "Pate" and "Dumbo."

Actually, I think we've seen from our offense about the same as we've seen since Garrett Riley became our OC. I could be wrong but, I think this 2025 offense should be the best that we've had since GR has been our OC.
With that being said, if our offense doesn't start playing to all the talent that we have on that side of the ball, it may be time for Dabo to start making calls to see if other OC's could be interested in coming to Clemson in 2026...

Exactly, the coaches, the kids all know this is where the rubber hits the road, in conference. Because winning the acc is the only way we get in the cfp. And imo the acc championship will have at most 2 one loss teams, but probably an undefeated team and a one loss team.

The most important prediction is the Las Vegas line. Because it (currently) shows in favor of Clemson. No journalistic bias in Vegas, just the money talking. (and no, I don't bet on sports).
