Before 2022 it was 2018, 2012, and 2009 as the only years

in the Swinney era where we didn't have at least one 1st round pick.

I was surprised Booth didn't slide in there. I expect he'll go early in the 2nd. I think Ross would have been a 1st rounder had he played more and our passing offense wasn't ranked 103rd in 2022.

FSU had a 1st round pick - 1st year transfer from UGA where he could not get in starting rotation.

Sounds right unfortunately. And UGA's Butkus Award winner, 1st team All-American Nakobe Dean, was not picked in Round 1. An oversight like Booth IMHO. (Voted top high school LB then top college LB.)

Props to UGA for a great 2021 defense -- giving credit where it's due -- glad most of them have moved to NFL.
