Get ready. According to TCI, major changes are coming. You may get your wish and Dabo resigns. If he does, whatever happens, don't say another friggin word. You are Alabama, to a T. When winning championships is all that matters, you will get what you paid for. Then again, you may not....
I'm all in for Dabo. He got us to the top, from the bottom. Most of y'all just don't understand. Clemson has been good, but without Dabo, we would still be rolling around in mediocrity....hoping we could best ACC goes. Frank Howard would have been fired 12 times during his tenure. Dabo brought us to the pinnacle, but a couple bad seasons and you're ready to move back to mediocrity. Good luck with that. Unfortunately, you bring us all down

What did you just say? He has to depend on position coaches to put players in right spots..when he calls a defensive set, the position coaches call the coverages . We need help in the back end..senior linebacker blows coverage, senior safety absolutely blows coverage and dbs give up inside leverage…all position coach issues

We have been much worse in the past, and Dabo will turn this around. He has to figure out NIL and Portal operations for Clemson.
People like you wanted to fire Dabo and Danny Ford early on in their careers. Glad Clemson didn't!
Still stupid the way they let Danny go, and we don't need to make the same mistake again with Dabo!
So, we can regret it forever for some fair-weather fans.....
Dabo will get it done with Clemson Nation's support, I'm sure.

Dabo created this mess. It’s all on him.
I know we’re stuck with Dabo because we can afford the buyout.
But I’m not going to believe he’s all the sudden had a change of heart and is going to make changes just because he says so.
He’ll likely make one or two changes to try to placate the fans and it won’t fix anything. That’s what he’s done the last 2-3 changes he’s made.
And we’ll continue to suck and get worse.
And Dabo will continue to get paid (along with family and friends) and he’ll talk about 8-10 years ago.

First, I want to give CDS credit for admitting the true problems… coaching and recruiting. For years all we have heard is we “like who we got” or “we hit” on so and so…. No one bats 1000%…..there are numerous misses in every class. Also want to give credit to CDS for owning it….. that’s all you can do. You can’t blame it on the fans; you can’t blame it on the administration; and you definitely cannot blame it on the Internet boards like Tigernet or Tyler in Spartanburg or the 3%….. etc. etc. etc. The answers to the dilemma are internal.
I know people want more reasoning and explanation, but I will maintain that “less is more” from here on out. With the exception of a few little defensive quips that I don’t think serve him well , I thought he did really well tonight. I know some will disagree.
The coaching admission was great; but hearing the admission on recruiting is note worthy. To repeat, if you are not going to use the portal to fill various holes that you CANNOT avoid, you better be very elite at high school recruiting (top 3 classes every year). We are not. All you are doing is handicapping yourself for NO reason. All of this is self-inflicted and could’ve been avoided. I have hinted several times in the past there have been times where CDS KNOWS what he has to do, but hesitates because it’s not what he wants to do. Sometimes going on a run late in the season has convinced him to hold off much needed changes or has slowed the change.
Hopefully the one thing good thing that comes out of this season is that changes are made and made rapidly now that it can no longer be denied that coaching
and recruiting are the main issues. Other issues such as roster management, strength & conditioning, and hiring still need to be addressed.

Dabo’s comments are spot on. There are ebbs and flows in every major program.
Some fans are spoiled and their expectations year after year are unreasonable.
I appreciate the program Dabo has built and the results and notoriety he has brought to Clemson.

Is this an indictment of one's own recruiting strategy? Also, how do the players feel about and admission that they are lacking? Maybe they don't care because they know they aren't all that great but are thrilled to be at a major college program when they most likely would have ended up at a less than stellar college program.
