Don't forget about Tremayne as well, representing the Rams.

I’m not surprised by this. When I was a student at Clemson, one of my close friends had a really positive encounter with him.

My friend, at the time, had a major deformation on his face due to cancer. Most people ignored him and tried to avoid eye contacts. He also couldn’t talk very well (impacted his speech). On a CAT bus ride, my friend tried to get off the bus at a stop but couldn’t get off in time due to how crowded the bus was. His lack of speech didn’t help. So he ended up sitting in the bus to get off at the next stop (one of the parking lots outside campus) which was far from his indented destination. He got off the bus and Tyler, who was also on the bus, was waiting for him to get off. He had no idea who Tyler was. Tyler told him he saw him trying to get off the bus and no one paying attention to him. Tyler asked him where he wanted to go so he could drive him there. Amazing character, particularly for a 21 year old.

That weekend my friend watched his first Clemson football game and he’s been a Clemson football and Jacksonville Jaguars fan ever since.

Great story. Thanks for sharing.

That’s an actual genuine act of kindness for someone in need, when Tyler had no idea anyone else would ever know about it.

Too much credit is given these days to people doing phony things like “saying the right thing” on social media, etc.

People who do things like Tyler did have the real stuff.

A Clemson man, or woman, need no introduction.

Good story. Sadly events such as this rarely makes the news and that is ok because it shouldn’t be news. Good guys DO finish first.
