Didn't we lose that game to Notre Dame even though DJ had a good game throwing? Sorry to be nitpicking, but...

We did, but we also had several starters out besides Trevor. We were very handicapped on Defense, and I do believe ND was full strength. That said we took them to 2 or 3 OT’s at their house, and still should have won the game in regulation, but for poor time management by our coaches. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. With our starters back, we stomped ND in the ACC Championship game.

I agree with you, but we did lose. DJ was indeed impressive in a game that he made very winnable.
Thanks for the correction, David.

I thought we lost to ND 47 - 40 in OT?

I guess the L against ND was actually a moral victory?

Obviously we lost to ND but David's point is it wasn't DJ's fault. He played an incredible, record-setting, turnover free game.
Did everyone's dog die or something? Jeez. We're talking about a 5* QB who has already cut his teeth against big time competition taking over for Trevor, and it's nothing but the fair weathers in here: "BuT wE lOsT tO nOtRe DaMe". Get over yourselves.

I think we are all in agreement regarding DJ and his talent. That being said, facts are facts. Blame it on all of the time I spent grading essays. Lol.
David did a correction.

I like “Big Cinco” as a nickname. I’d propose “Cinco Grande” as an alternate, just for fun.

I’ve got an excitement about this upcoming season that far exceeds seasons past. DJU is going to be incredible and I can’t wait to see the offense he leads.
