Young man, I can tell you this, I've never played a down of FB at Clemson, or any other college, but I have been to many many FB games at Clemson's Death Valley. As most of us know, some of the best parts about attending a home game at Clemson, is the tailgating before the game, and with the many many many games I've been to, I've never had a bad experience with stopping by another Clemson fan tailgate party, and I have walk up to many total strangers tailgating, and I was always invited into their group to tailgate with them. So I can tell you, there is nothing fake about the family atmosphere at Clemson, bc that's just the way they are, if you are a Tiger, or a Tiger fan, you are a part of those tailgaters family. They/we, are usually welcoming to even the opposing teams fans also, if they are respectful while in Tiger town!!!! Because of health issues, I haven't been to a home FB game in quite awhile, but some of my best memories are of the total strangers I've met, and had an awesome time tailgating with!!!! Tigers, and Tiger fans only see family at Clemson!!!!
