This was a really good year that resulted in another ACC Championship. Playing 14 innings and missing two great chances to beat Tennessee Saturday night just left our guys totally drained. We were a good team, Tennessee is a good team and we could have won that game and then who knows. There is no shame in losing to Charlotte because mentally and physically, our guys were just playing with an empty tank.

Coach Bakich will find some pitchers, have our guys in the weight room and hopefully we will be a factor for the ACC Championship and NCAA Tournament again next season.

I enjoyed watching Clemson baseball more than I have in a long time. The future of this program is going to be very exciting!

I believe. We were an elite pitcher away from shocking the world. Add a solid shutdown closer, and we will win the CWS. It’s been a while since I was proud of Clemson baseball. Monty Lee almost destroyed the program. Can’t wait for next year!

It was depressing to see all the upper 90s pitching, strong hitting, and guys being able to get a simple bunt down.

Looking back at where this season stood in early April, this was a spectacular finish for Clemson Baseball. The energy and fan support around this program has returned to a level that has been missing for years. That enthusiasm will certainly help recruiting and with most of this year's team returning, the near future looks very bright.
Congratulations Coach Bakich and Team. Clemson Nation looks forward to next year.
