Whether or not Dabo was a serious candidate for Bama is irrelevant. His line was still funny. Gotta love his sense of humor.

I saw that Fulgham kid in some documentary “God, Family, Football”. He has a brother that is QB who isn’t that great. Their estranged father is Josh Booty of LSU. This kid can fly and can catch about anything thrown his way. Their teammates were complaining that his brother throws it to him about 90% of the time hahaha.

It was so-so. I watched it at lunch each day until I finished it. The QB and mother and coach were the focus. They tried to create a dramatic storyline but the team was just average. The WR can play though. One player got a bad concussion during a game and seemed OK but then collapsed on the field after the game and ended up in the hospital. They never really tied that story up - I guess he didn’t sign away his rights.

Josh Booty Is The Equal Opposite of Tom Brady

Tom Brady was the overlooked talent that turned out to be the GOAT in the NFL while Josh Booty was raved about based upon his high school accolades and turned out to be a dud instead of a stud. His son that is possibly going to play at WR for Clemson is a baller. I mean, it seems that way based on the film I just viewed. I hope he's like a Hunter Renfrow.

Few objective observers of college football would argue that Nick Saban is the greatest college coach of all time.

Yet even saint Nick missed on recruits, including Frank Ladson and Beaux Collins, both of whom he recruited as well. EVERYONE missed on those guys.

So your point is what, exactly? That Dabo isn't perfect? I never claimed he bats 1000.

If only the keyboard critics like you were competent at anything besides criticism...

If no promises were made then what are we really losing by bringing him in as a PWO. It has absolutely no effect on bringing in someone on scholarship whether HS recruit or transfer. I do have some concern that a year from now he might be on scholarship, preventing us from bringing in someone better but that's a different topic.

An LSU legacy by way of both parents, Fulghum's father is Josh Booty, a former quarterback for the Tigers from 1999-2000. His mother, Sara Fulghum, was a Golden Girl for the football team during the same era.

Booty holds connections to programs across the country. Former Alabama quarterback Andrew Zow, an old SEC rival of Booty, is a senior offensive analyst for Clemson.

Zow got Fulghum to a camp at Clemson this past summer, allowing the unrated wide receiver an opportunity to talk with head coach Dabo Swinney and wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham.

“I love Clemson,” said Fulghum, who received a walk-on offer from Clemson on his recent visit. “I’m a devout Christian, and Coach Dabo is a huge Christian and being in that locker room and hearing all the stuff he says is awesome to me.”

Building depth with a 0 star receiver? You've got to be kidding? I just wish the snake oil salesman b.s would stop. At the WR position what is needed is play makers. He may be a good young man, but please stop with the B.S. if we depending on this for kids, for depth if the other pedestrian WR's get hurt, this is s sign of trouble and another 8-4 season with a trip to the Joe Smuckatelli Corn on the Cobb Bowl.
