Played in only 4 games. Shouldn't he get a redshift?

It would seem he played 4 games during the regular season, but, for some reason, participated in the Gator Bowl, so 5 games total. You would have thought that they would have held him out to use that redshirt, but they didn't.

It was used as a redshirt season. Bowls don't count toward the redshirt games tally.

My mistake, the bowl game does not count towards the total.

I shouldn't say this but I can't help myself with not saying it, but, IMO it's the position coaches job to coach his group up to be better receivers, it's also his job to find the right words that will motivated them to max out their potential to be the very best receivers they could possibly be every time they step on a practice field and on the game field. It's the coaches job to get the best they have to give in every second of practice or in a game...

Agreed, but a coach can only motivate so much. A player has to have the drive and fire in his belly, sounds like AW got a little complacent and thought things came easy. Glad he learned from that and will go out and prove it each and every week.
