I think he is just being rational. Celebrate? For winning 1 game when the season is all but done and a failure? Reminds me of that everybody gets an award type attitude. I am excited about next year though seeing what Hall and Hunter can do and who will bring in with the portal. The days of celebrating for many of us fans is over for this season unless some magic happens in the ACCT. This win was somewhat interesting at best.

A celebration could mean feeling a sense of joy. Feeling happy for our coaches and players who continue to play hard and push through adversity. I think many would call it the thrill of victory which should be quite different than the agony of defeat. Seems many of our fans are going through the agony of a victory which says more about their lack of character than the play of the team.

There was no free award as Clemson actually won the game. Wins are hard to come by so each one should be celebrated. Perhaps college sports are not for you if actually winning the game is not sufficient for you to feel joy.

You are right. It is too little, too late. Plus, Wake had two players out. Should not save BB's job.

of mostly-mediocre basketball at Clemson I can't get too excited over an occasional win, especially when I think of how many wins we've let slip away. Helll yeah I'm jaded, especially right now about Brownell being our HC

Hey, when the kids are short handed, beaten up, late in the season. They could just pack it up.
Glad the Clemson culture shines through and we are fighting like heck no matter what. No matter what you say about Brownell, one thing is that his kids have never quit on him or the school. That says a lot.

coach brownell is a good coach. jack leggett is a good coach but it was time to make a change. if the ad thinks it is time for a change he will make a change. i will support him as long as he is at clemson. just can not figure out why the idiots on this board have all the answers. no one can be pleased with this season. fans, players and coaches.

It's nice to win anytime in any Clemson sport, especially after 6 straight losses. The situation hasn't changed for Brownell, and there's nobody who has changed their opinion based on last night. You're trying to stir something up that just isn't true.

Players win games and players lose games. The HC can only prepare a team plus put them in a situation to be successful but the players have to make plays.
