Tigernet on Jordan Spieth

What is everyone's take on the Masters win? Is this the next truly game changing golfer or just the next great player. Ever since Tiger started to fall off everyone has been looking for a person to take his place. If that is Spieth we should all consider ourselves lucky to get a chance to watch two so close together. Personally I believe he will be very good but taking on a challenge like winning double digit majors is very difficult. Either way it will be fun to watch he and Rory like the prime of Phil and Tiger. I also think it is great for golf to finally have more than 1 or 2 guys who can challenge at the highest level.

I am looking forward to seeing how his career unfolds, but winning the Masters and being a runner-up the year before is a promising start.

Looks legit to me. Not overly long or accurate, but his putting and short game are amazing. He has ice water in his veins.

I really like Jordan's approach on the links. Plays the game much older then his years. Hits all the shots and most of all does not let a bad shot cause him to deviate from playing his game. As rare of a talent as Tiger was, it looks like Rory and Jordan have the mental make up without all of the flaws that Tiger has in his swing. I am now interested in watching Golf again.
This from a guy who played scratch golf for over 25 years with more swing changes then the re-grip yips that Sergio had a few years back with the mindset of smash it, find it, hit it again then get it up and down for par. You know, the kind of game that gets in the head of your playing partners that Tiger and Phil play.
I enjoyed watching two guys that can really golf the ball. Jordan and Rory will be fun to watch over the next couple of years until the next generation of 21 year olds that hit it 350 off the tee down the middle that aren't a ###### bag like Dustin.

But evidently his game is tailor made for Augusta. He will be amongst the favorites there for years to come.
Would be nice to see he and Rory stay atop the world rankings. I'd still bet that Rory retains #1 for the next few years though.

There seems to be more young guns now than in the past. They all can flat out play.

Most all of these newbies have the advantage of equipment so much better than what I had 30-40 years ago. I'd really love to see these kids play with equipment made in the mid to late 60's. Blades with little heads, irons that would buzz your neck if you mis-hit them just a bit, persimmion woods, no personal grinds(factory only), shelf balls, and the like.
They also have the advantage of all the conditioning regimes available. My time inside the ropes at the Wells Fargo(Wachovia and Quail Hollow)Championship tells me so many of them are alsmost robots with the same swing characteristics. There are those who have their own idiosyncrasies like Bubba, Furyk, FIGJAM, et al.
Too bad Finchem doesn't have a 60's throw-back tournament after the FedEx Cup is done. I'd really love to see what they could do with shelf blades, balls, and no swing coaches.

He will represent the values off golf a little better than 'T'. Time for that person to go.
