TigerNet is exactly like a church business meeting

At a church business meeting, everyone in the room feels compelled to put in their two cents worth. Most of the members have no background in the decision at hand as their chosen professions do not involve a similar such thought process. The members that do understand the options and tradeoffs have to tolerate the seemingly endless, unnecessarily emotional, and highly questionable inputs by the less informed. Much time is wasted by the wrong people talking.

this is an opinion board, we don't make decisions. and about 75% of the people on here don't pay to join. that means you are not going to have just Clemson opinions. what did you expect to find on a sports discussion and opinion board, the ad and president discussing coaches with the board of trustees?

something in the offering plate have the most to say about how to spend the money. Usually suggesting that there should be no limit in how much money is spent on their favorite project.

wait, wut?

is there a message board to the church? is it necessary that i was baptized in the church or is being a faithful, denominational christian[et al] OK?

what if i put a little something in the offering plate or mail it in, but was baptized[or other] in another church? do i still have a say or no bueno?

these are all important questions as to how much say i think i have or how much might be recognized by others. we might not have shared the same sunday skewl[or other], but...

probably did not know the level to which they were exposing their true selves to everyone else. I have told many people in industry that I learned the art of political persuasion at church as a child.
