Similar to UNC.. they have enough defense to slow the run down if they focus on doing so but secondary is trash.. they probably got better backs on offense but qb struggling with accuracy

Their backup did just fine and is just as big and fast as Hooker... didn't they put up 50 on Vandy with the backup when Hooker went down?

Their defense has been non-existent.
Offense was really good but lost their starting QB to injury and their OC is going to replace Jeff Scott at USF.
Really no reason for us to not take this one to the house and then look forward to next year.

game. Living in this state will be miserable if we lose to these guys. They are right up there with Notre Dame and N.C. State for me. Losing Hooker is going to be big for them but don't think losing the OC is as big of a deal because it's basically Huepel's system.

I wouldn't say it won't matter. Heupel being the offensive genius he is will be ready for sure. But, with a new QB(I know he played the Vandy game; but did he really need to)?
We also have extra time to get ready for them! Wes Goodwin has a photographic memory and I anticipate will do an excellent job againt TN.
We don't know who all will be fully vested in going at it 100%. I think we will have far more who want it.

UT wasn’t focused. The came inot that game thinking it was a done deal.
Make no mistake. If our boys don’t prepare for an all out physical brawl, we will be in trouble down in Miami real fast.

Drake Maye and that N. Carolina offense in my opinion "With Maye" are as dangerous as anyone. I don't know what the backup TN QB looks like; but chances are he is not as good as Hooker.
I know it's Heupel's offense; but Hooker made it all work and his experience he gained all year as the starter will be missed.
No doubt we have to show up fired up and ready to compete. That goes w/o saying and because TN is ranked as high as we are - that won't be a problem.
I like our depth over there depth! I like our experience over their experience in big games! We will have a roster of players still auditioning for starting roles next year!
I think we get it done and get it done soundly. People have to recognize that ND is not a bad team. scar had a hot QB and was playing well late plus; we helped them a ton.
We aren't a bad team either; just because the talking heads talk more about TN.
