don't mind telling?
Me, Orangeburg, SC, and Debby has only sent 3.6 total inches of rain so far our way. Thankful for the rain, but even more thankful that it was not accompanied by damaging winds. One Hugo a lifetime is more than enough, thankee vury much.

Hanahan, on the res. Water is high, neighborhood saw some significant flooding. Storm drains seemed to have been over run. Code made all house build on 4ft high foundations so good there.
The wind is starting to really pick up. Worried about some old gums that could rip out of the saturated soggy ground.

were down at our place in Litchfield. Their plan was to stay until Sunday, but the weather put a real damper on their plans. When they left yesterday morning to head home, rainfall was already in the range of 8 inches. There were also a number of tornado warnings across the region. More expected today as Debby makes another landfall in SC. Scary stuff.

This thing almost looks to be stalled on the SC coast, and just keeps picking up

ocean water and bringing it down on our coastal areas as rain. Move on, Debby, move on. Go do Dallas, or somewhere else!

Rainy and wet with a few puddles in the lowest areas and along the edges of the road. Walked out on the beach during high tide at S Pawleys, windy and rough waves, but nothing to fear. Don’t know what the afternoon and evening will bring, but so far, for Litchfield and Pawleys…much ado about nothing.

In Goose Creek, my rain guages indicate 12 tp 13 inches and raining hard at the present. No flooding in the Crowfield area where I live.
