He keeps Wagner on the field at third who’s 3 for his last 21 and is only hitting .220 on the season with a completely unproductive 7 rbis instead of Hawkins whose 9 for his last 18. Hawkins has just 2 ab’s in the series.

This guy just has no feel for the game. He is a complete slave to analytics and has no ability to coach on instinct and feel for the game. The good ones can do both.

Yep. And Tanner was a master at “feeling” the game in progress. I guess you simply can’t teach it, because Monte Lee don’t have it.

On a different note, has Hoffman done enough to get the Friday night start? The Hoffman/Clark combo is working well today.

Looks like Leggett was a "used-to-be" and Lee is a "never-was". Anyway, moving on ... lots of great softball and soccer ahead of us then summer football practice. A lot to look forward to in Tiger Town!
