...to lament the next loss of life of any student, athlete, or faculty member at Clemson and show their ability to set aside rivalry attitudes for the sake of humanitarian empathy in the same manner that we offer our prayers of consolation for their losses.

It is always a sad matter when one of our beloved "family members" are unexpectedly taken from us.

We all mourn together in these times of grief.

... it was a play on words.

Certainly, ALL DECENT PEOPLE share times of loss and grief with sensitivity and caring thoughts. With that being said, no group or organization should try to dictate how others show or represent their own grieving process, or be critical of those who do not respond to coercion to act in a certain way..

That was my point!
