10 rifles found in Las Vegas shooter's room

After this I don't see how anybody can argue against increased gun control in this country. No reason anybody should be able to legally own a weapon that can do the damage he did.

Can you at least let the bodies cool off a little before trying to make this political?

I'm just reporting on the tweeting. I happen to be one of the many who follow him on Twitter, and I thought maybe everyone didn't know that our prez has priorities about NFL football and mass murder, and what those priorities are.
The only benefit of this horrific event is that people, including our Predisent, might shut up about the NFL for a week.

theres literally no reason why

It's just ridiculous.
Anybody who is still arguing against better gun control does not care 1 iota about any of the victims of this shooting or the victims of future shootings that are bound to happen.

Dude, there are extensive background checks, laws in every state against fully automatic weapons and you are sitting here giving us a lecture on gun control.
Have you ever sold a gun? Ever had to call NICS and do a background check? If not, you have no clue on the process.
Just move on man. Guns are here to stay and the more you try to make it harder to get them, the more winning the Republicans and gun manufacturers experience.
Blame the shooter. Blame the lack of mental health facilities. Blame the VA for lack of care if he is a Vet with PTSD. You cannot blame an inanimate object. It just isnt possible.

you can blame the inanimate object though

Because the object allows someone to kill bunches of people in a matter of seconds. A knife can't do that, with a knife attack, he kills 5 people max.
Obviously those other things are what ultimately leads to the attack, but the vessel in which they carry it out certainly makes a difference as far as casuality count.
And yes I was too rash in saying people don't care. I'm just really angry and upset by this, especially since Ive gotten to know Vegas well in the past year.
It's just that every time something like this happens, people either go crazy and propose unrealistic things like take away all guns or people ignore it and say "oh well, bad prople will do bad things". But there HAS to be something we can do as a country to at least stem the tide of attacks like this. It just feels like nothing is ever done and people send thoughts and prayer emojis and then we wait for the next one.

Using your logic we shouldn’t try to stop North Korea from enhancing its nuclear weapons.....

what are you specifically proposing? I'm thinking guns are being controlled with a million laws right now. What new one's do you want to add specifically?

Since you're on top of things, we're they legally owned?
Did have all the Federally required stamps to possess automatic weapons?
Or did he self-modify the rifles to make then automatic?
Or was it bump fire?

The amount of guns he had is pointless
Oct 2, 2017, 11:48 AM
|

He may have had 10 guns but what would have been different if he only had one gun? He could grab a different rifle when he ran out of ammo but it takes just as long to change a magazine as it does to throw the gun down and pick up another one. He would have killed just as many people if he had only 1 automatic rifle with a pile of loaded magazines.
