I got it; the SEC is king. Blah, blah, blah. We sit at #6 in the coaches poll. Are you kidding me?
So, we go on the road and play a talented 4-2 Miami. Sure, they are not the Miami from the past era but still talented enough to beat just about anyone on a given day. We are favored by 6 1/2. We go in there and smoke them covering the spread almost 9 times over. Outgain them by 421 yards. Hang 45 on them in just over a half. Pull pretty much every starter and play the towel boy, the girl who carries the gatorade basket, and the drunk frat boy that fell over the wall celebrating Kelly Bryants 59 yrd run.
LSU plays a 6-1 Western Kentucky at home. The score at the half? 14-7 LSU. WKU gains 428 yards, QB throws for 325 w/3 Td's. WKU has 24 1st downs. They hold Mr. Heisman to his lowest output of the season (granted still 150 yd) and LSU wins 48-20. Far from impressive in my book. Yet they move up a spot?
Then there is Alabama. They lose several weeks ago to what is now a 2 loss Ole Miss. Sure they beat the snot out of a now unranked UGA. Is anyone other than die hard SEC fans and ESPN impressed by Bama? You know the one that almost lost to a 3 loss Tennessee. They won by 5. Bama moves up one spot.
There are four 2-loss teams in the top 25. Two of those are SEC...
UGA being one of those. Georgia's last 3 games: #### whooped at home by Bama, 7 point loss to Tennesse and a 3 point win over a Mizzu team that hasn't scored an offensive touchdown in their last 13 quarters and then lost to Vandy.
Do the votes of SEC coaches carry more weight? If LSU had gone into Miami, did the exact same thing we did, what do you think would have happened in the polls. This is BULL.

have also recruited just a little better than Clemson(averaging the last 4 classes). Miami is no slouch talent wise, coaching might be another story, but Miami is a talented team.

Coaches poll and AP poll means nothing.
The only poll you need comes out in about 10 days.
