Columbia, SC — An idiot receives two speeding tickets in excess of 15 miles over the posted speed limit, which the Department of Motor Vehicles considers “serious” offenses, and his coach says “he needs to go to driving school , doesn’t he (giggle, giggle)?”
We’ve all heard that it’s better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt. Someone needs to suggest that Steve Spurrier adopt that as his credo.
I wonder if coach Spurrier would make the same idiotic statement if a family member was injured or killed by someone displaying a high level of stupidity at such high speeds. I have a degree from the University of South Carolina. I consider it disgusting and embarrassing to have the school represented by such behavior, and the administration doing nothing about it.
Both Clowney and Spurrier should have been removed before the bowl game, but we have no leaders who haven’t sold out to the dollar.
And to think, the University of South Carolina is considered an institution of higher learning. I guess that does not include the sports arenas.

no, I'm not surprised.. for the same reason the OP didn't know what an editorial was, I guess you also don't know the definition of an editorial.
It was a letter to the editor... and that is no editorial.

the author's degree wasn't in Public Relations.
I am nearly convinced that he is neither a member of the GC Club nor a season ticket purchaser.
And I could be easily swayed to believe that he may have been partaking of a few brews before he penned the letter!
