All season it felt like this was a lineup full of leadoff hitters and a pitching rotation full of long relievers. The team had a good season but the margin for error was pretty small without fully healthy elite starting pitching (other than knaak) and limited power in the lineup. It never really seemed like a team bound for Omaha. Those 23 and 24 teams looked the part and just ran into good teams and that hurts worse to me.

I'm having a feeling that it's something missing within the coaching staff, and just maybe Bakich needs to do a serious evaluation of his entire coaching staff when our season is over after this game. Even if a miracle happened and we won this game, I still feel that there is something missing within this coaching staff!!!
