things u cannot control

Feb 8, 2022, 8:20 PM

(just tug with beer on the porch, only read if you have no life)

My Bride has cats. I like cats, but prefer dogs.
One of her cats pissed on my Samsung "65" TV. It ran down into the lower frame and killed the TV. Apparently some electronic crap is there - $1500 shot to he$$.

As this is my beautiful "trophy bride" not much I can say. She would chose the cat over my old a%%.

I ordered in a new OLED HDR 4K (not sure what that means) to see the Tiger Spring Game in case I can't make it there (unlikely).

I put a better video card in the computer that controls the TV. Apparently all you crypto miners are driving video cards prices beyond the reach of most, so thanks for that.

Bride said we needed a better TV stand. Found one in California she liked. Too big for UPS, so some trucker not in Ottawa loaded it up and headed to SC.

The tracking for weeks is "too" funny. It has been bouncing around the USA for 3 weeks.
Aircraft/truck malfunction is too funny.
There is no "facility" in Westminster, just a Hardees.

I do understand if my main problem today is a TV stand --> life is good, plus I have the "Trophy Bride" and her cat. Some times I loose focus.

Maybe you should mount that tv on the wall. You should also bury that cat and act shocked when you haven’t seen it in a week.

Yeah I had a problem with a wife and a cat one time, when the wife’s away, go burn a pizza in the oven, then open a window, the cat will disappear.. when she asks about the cat, just tell her you don’t know what she’s talking about. When she asked why the window is open, tell her you burned a pizza. You never lied.

Of course I’m divorced from this woman now, so maybe it wasn’t the best plan

I do not have many memories of early childhood

Feb 8, 2022, 9:10 PM

other than being born on tour with Jefferson Airplane, to this day I am not even sure if any of them are my natural parents, or somebody just left me at one of their shows. Anyway, I also remember that getting a TV like this one delivered to your door was impossible back then. This is an amazing feat in modern technology and logistics. I would not complain too much, just think back to the days when TV's were round and Amazon was in South America.

What a great childhood memory!***

TV was not invented when I was a kid. I have no birth certificate. A guy who claims to be my brother says I was left on the porch by the milkman.

Your brother probably overheard your mama talking to her girlfriend one day and just got the story mixed up... :0)

Thanks for posting. This was a test post. All here should be interested and demand ~~~ Together we could expect change.

I sent this to Tnet:

I am being attacked on every post. I put up a few bland posts to test. I am good with debate, but ######## in the dark is your job. I have a forum for 20 years -- yardcrap.com. I don't allow that, why do yall?

Sounds like USPS is involved. I ordered 2 things off ebay from the same person but they shipped them in 2 different packages. Both packages went from a small town in Missouri to KC.

Package A
KC to Greensboro, NC
Greensboro, NC to Spartanburg
Spartanburg to West Columbia
West Columbia to Greenville
Greenville to Anderson
Anderson to Me

Package B
Left KC 6 days ago and hasn't been scanned in since.
My package is running late but still on its way.
Where it is on its way to nobody knows.
