Things that I enjoyed about the game

The intro - phenomenal
Atmosphere in Death Valley - best that I can remember in a long time
DJ - Accuracy, running, progression through reads, and decision making was on point
Wrs/TEs Wrs and TEs made clutch catches and TE blocking was good too
OL - I think this was another game that they didn't allow the qb to get sacked, and they kept the pocket clean most of the night.
DL - Not playing at full strength but you couldn't tell it. They were relentless.
LBs - How bout that qb hit by Carter?
DBs - Not great but greatly improved and played with a chip on their shoulder all night
Coaching - This seemed like Streeter and Goodwin's best called games since the bowl game last year and I loved that last td that Dabo dialed up on the sideline.
That postgame look on Doeren's face - No cigar that night, lol.

Dave was upset about that play to Shipley before the half, he said they had a cloud 3 defense & he should have been covered..lol
That play was not drawn up that way & DJ had no problem hitting him on the run, it was an impressive play& part of what our passing game coordinator came up with. They should have given The Ship the TD!

me how quickly he got run down on that play up the middle awhile ago. It wasn't late in a game, or after he had run it on a couple plays in a row. It just seemed like he didn't have the jets on that particular play.

Shipley baited the defender...

When the ball was snapped, Shipley just kind of floated toward the boundary to set-up an outlet screen pass. When the defender started breaking toward the LOS, Shipley just sprinted right by him.

Yep. DD said they “gave” us that one. That was just a great play by both Shipley and DJ.

Good points. Dorene's cigar celebration last year could be viewed as his conceding that that win was as good as it was going to get.
This team might not be as good as some teams of years past, and is not where it wants to be, but they are pretty darn good. Clemson is still the class of the ACC.

I was shocked at how many times our OL held the pocket for DJU. There were some plays where he was able to stand in the pocket untouched for what seemed like forever. Huge credit to the OL this game.

with a bunch of bull$#!7 calls or lack of calls, Clemson wins by 3 TD's, and that does not including the passes that were overthrown to wide a$$-open receivers that would have all been walk-in TD's for Clemson.
