just kidding, Tee. Great idea to just go ahead and do it now while you're young!

draft stock. Tee Higgins is in a completely different situation, and would literally be leaving 1st round millions on the table to come back. He can always graduate AFTER turning pro. Pretty sure Mom would agree if he goes pro now.

Know what helps ease Mom’s worry about graduating right away?

A brand new house.
He gone. Come back and finish up your degree but don’t sacrifice a year of earning potential in a short career to play for free. Get to that second contract as soon as you can and he can’t appreciably improve his draft stock by staying.

I believe Dabo will recommend that Tee leaves.
I believe he says that he tells players to leave is he feels they will go in the first round and their draft evaluation confirms it.
Unless Tee grades much lower than expected, he will be encouraged to go.

If a player is a legitimate first round pick. He should be advised to leave. Anything else is not looking out for the young man. First round money is financially life altering
That said, there have been plenty that got bad advice about their draft stock. And some have had unusual things happen in the picks.

What does Mel Kiper have to say about it? He is so good at evaluating players. ??
Tee should be a high enough draft pick to get a nice chunk of change. But he shouldn't go unless his Mom releases him of his promise.

If you promise a student's parent you graduate your players,

you never advise them to leave. It's up to the Family and you support them.
There's a reason only Graduates or those on track to graduate in Dec run down the Hill on senior Day !

The fact the Tee is a projected 1st round pick should speak for itself. As far as graduating, if he has a good agent they may consider what Dean Smith had Michael Jordan and James Worthy's agent do. Thier agent, I believe it was David Falk, had the team that drafted them add in a bonus for them when they went back to school and recieved thier college degree.

If he did come back he could put the receiving TD record way out of reach

WR rankings for the draft.

I don't subscribe to any pay websites, so I don't have access to Kiper or McShay. I heard McShay say today on Golic and Wingo that he thought there would be 8 guys drafted in the first round. He mentioned four or five guys before he mentioned Higgins. Spoke well of him, but not glowing at all.
This site has him ranked 11th.
https://walterfootball.com/draft2020WR.php
Note: I disagree. No way are there 10 receivers better than him. But, with the WR talent being so deep this year, it would surprise, but not shock, em if he decided to come back.

McShay was all over Tee's jockstrap when he worked the ACC Championship game as a sideline reporter, so whatever
