Jacob McCrary's commitment so early, the coaches probably told him to wait a little longer, theres still a lot of time left until Signing day for this class, and make sure he knows for sure Clemson is where he wants to be.

I think it's that and the limited numbers. We took commits from Dorian O'Daniel and Jordan Leggett at this time last year (if not earlier) but we had like 18-20 scholarships open. At this point we will only have about 13-14 plus attrition with Sammy most likely leaving after 2013, a few injuries, transfers, etc.

he has stated that he is looking around and that there is tremendous pressure on him to go to Miami. His brother and best friend are both committed to the U and local pressure is high. He has also claimed interest in FSU and is taking a visit to UF next week.

Anyway, honestly don't care too much about this b/c I don't want to lose ten years of my life over the next year, fretting on whether or not this 17 yr old will choose to attend Clemson. Way, waaaaay to early to even begin worrying about this. We may even get a back or two ON NSD who flips from another school. Plus, if...(cough), when Clemson takes care of business this season, we'll become that much more appealing to recruits anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him. But if he wants to play somewhere else, we will get someone else in his place. Besides, I think Dye is going to be the back for this team for the foreseeable future.

PLEASE refrain from acting like a Doooshbag....should this kid even HINT about going elsewhere.
Above all else, STAY CLASSY Tiger fans!! Don't turn into (or become like) inbred Coots if this kid does or hints at the unthinkable.
