They can’t stop themselves from seeing the reality of how bad this team is and how much change is needed to turn things around

Wait until Tuesday. But at this point, even when TNET journalist and writers are saying it's bad, then it's probably time to get with the program and look at the flowers.

Same here, and the cell service coverage there is worse than our pass coverage was yesterday. I kept trying to get the weather channel app open to see the radar and it was terrible. But I don’t look at TNet during away games either. The negativity is overwhelming.

Staying committed through adversity is admirable, but blind pumping can sometimes do more harm than good. If we always just ‘pump’ no matter what, we risk ignoring real problems that need fixing. Constructive criticism isn’t about giving up on the team — it’s about holding them accountable so they can actually improve. Sometimes the best way to show commitment is by being honest about weaknesses instead of glossing them over

I’d say you are 100% correct. Except they’ve quit being objective. One can be committed to a marriage and get run all over without pointing out the flaws of the other spouse. This typically ends up badly.
Pumpers are a lot like the parents in the stands pulling for little Johnny and telling him he’s the greatest shortstop ever, all the while ignoring the fact that he’s not good enough to play right field. They also blame everyone but themselves and Johnny for his shortcomings

then think about it, then write about it.
I'm probably what most dumpers would classify as a pumper, although I'm not; I watched the game. Then I thought about it, then I wrote about it.
Dumpers, on the other hand, tend to be more excitable and capricious, and in need of more validation:
They take to the TNETS at the first sign of trouble, stay on TNETS as long as it takes for them to feel like they've pointed out the trouble, then come back the next day and tell us all how they told us all that they were right all along.

Wouldn’t be surprised. I saw one fan leaving the student section, stop and yell a profanity laced tirade toward the field about getting things fixed. I felt the frustration myself but my 4 year old granddaughter who was standing there next to me didn’t need to hear it from this punk.

This is funny, yall are really just frustrated that everyone doesn’t have your same point of view about this, I guess I’m a pumper too, I see the same thing on game day as everyone else, and I understand that a lot of things are wrong, from coaching to lack of effort, and no clear leadership on the field. But this season is in motion, the only ones who can do anything about it are the people in the program, try to ride it out and not be to hard on them, plus stress is bad for your health.

You are obviously new here and maybe should read more before commenting on my point of view or stress level. Both of which are in very good shape. My overall view is very similar to what you describe as yours.

But like probably 95% of the people here, can't afford it.
Glad you're able to attend all the games and thus be a true fan.
