He didn’t say anything. He got two penalties and he let his QB take a sack because he barely touched the defender. That’s what got him benched.
But he’s still the best OL we have by far. Very talented.

Jackson Had A Bad Game!

Going back to his Freshman year opportunities. This was the worst I have seen Jackson play. Remember how he handled the DE from Ohio State? The Miami DE was good - but not good like that kid. Jackson got beat badly a few times and got called for holding a few other times. And, gave up sacks!
He wasn't playing like his mind was in it - because I know he is better than tonights performance.

It's completely understandable that the OL as a whole is struggling a bit this year. I think every reasonable fan expected this (to some extent) given we were losing 4/5 starters and didn't recruit OL particularly well in the 2017 and 2018 classes, but Carman is the one guy that SHOULD be dominant for us right now and he just isn't playing up to those expectations. He's not going to end up being our 2nd straight 5* LT to not get drafted, right?

Good question. I know this much is true - the film on him the last two weeks from a protection stand point is costing him draft stock. I would be willing to bet something (we on the outside are not accessible to) is going on outside of football with JC79. He is faster than Mitch Hyatt and I believe his arms are a bit longer - so I think he gets drafted. But, he was a 1st round guy - still has the potential to be - but over the last two weeks he is more 4-7 round.
And guys - it's not like he hasn't held his own to played well against some future NFL types in the past. He has and done well.
For his sake and TL16 sake I hope he works it out or whatever it is gets worked out. If they get JC playing with a "consistent nasty streak" teams will have "Hades" on their hands! Even more than they do now!

Lazy Fundamentals, leaning rather than moving his Feet. I realize it was only 2 plays that he was taken out for Walker Parks, but perhaps #64 needs a little more PT — if that does not light the Fire for Carman, then I do not know what will!
