Do you take employment recruitment calls solicited through LinkedIn?

I've got a "headhunter" hitting me up weekly to talk about moving to their company. It is a reputable company that is not in ILM but in Raleigh and I think they want to setup a presence here.
Anyways, I made a mistake and told wife about it, of course she wants me to talk with them. But I see it as a temptation to leave something good for something risky at a time when I think risky is a problem.
Anyways, do you guys entertain recruitment stuff through LinkedIn? I've always ignored it.

middle management or director just seems like a diluted crap show of hucksters and wannabes who are all competing to place folks in the same undifferentiated pool of agency/corporate jobs.
I wouldn't trust most recruiters with walking my dog, much less helping facilitate my career future, but there is a certain income level and target (i.e. maybe $250k W2 income?) where it would be useful to have someone who has connections and understands the implications of placing these roles.

Is said recruiter calling you about the vehicle detailing position at the Orangeburg Shell station? I hear they really need some help down there.

I've gotten to tour some of America's greatest cities to talk about a job. Memorable Places like right outside St Louis, MS, somewhere near Tulsa, OK, Mt Airy, NC, and somewhere in Florida that I forgot the name of I flew into Tampa and had to drive an hour to get there.

a know a guy who was contacted by a headhunter and ended up sending resume. Headhunter then contacts his current employer and tells them he is looking for a job, and they will be glad to help find a replacement.

I'm just a few years out of closing up a 30 year job search. Or starting one again, maybe.

Most of the LinkedIn headhunter messages I get confuse me with the another guy who is no longer at my company. I'm an ME doing subcontract technical management and oversight. The other guy is in cybersecurity.
Which makes it fun when I remind those guys that one of the tenets of COMSEC and OPSEC is to make sure you're sending information to the right persons. Good job failing at the industry you're repping.
