I think the Coots are going to surprise a lot of us. It seems that the staff additions there, plus some fairly solid recruiting this year they could improve a lot over last year's terrible record.
Before any of you flamethrowers have at it, I have been an Iptay member for more than 60 years, CU season ticket holder since 1960, CU Class of 1952.

Freshman are not going to be game changers for USC. Their lines will still be bad an get swallowed up by most of their competition. Bently only won games because they played BAD teams.
They were lucky to get to a bowl last year and that luck might turn on them this year.

They'll be 5-7 to 7-5.
The toss-up games are many.
NCSU
Missouri
KY
ARK
VANDY
TENN
TAMU
Wofford and La Tech are victories.
They won't win all the toss-ups, but they won't lose all either. 4 are basically home games. NCSU is a neutral site but more usc fans.
So 6-6 seems like a good mid-point.

LA Tech, Wofford, Kentucky, and Vandy, and possibly either UGA or UTenn based solely on how deplorable Smart and Jones are. I think 4-8 with the best quarterback they've ever had, or so their fans say, is doable, with the possibility of licking their way into a 5th or 6th win if Kirby Smart and Butch Jones continue to make the biggest headscratching moves in all of college football.

Well, if they lose at the Roach to Kentucky this year then I will definitely go to the 2018 home game against the coots to root for the Wildcats to go 5 STRAIGHT over the Worm-pullers.
