Bama or Washington?

Which team would you rather Clemson play against in the CFP final? I think that Clemson is going to man-handle OSU which puts the Tigers back in the championship game again. Just curious to see which team you guys would rather play against when/if you do get back...

won't get any respect if we don't beat Bama along the way to a championship. Plus it is not often we can beat the gamecocks, gametides, whatever twice in one season.

Not sure I understand how you will beat any team twice in this season since Bama has not played Clemson yet...

He's referring to the fact that the coots ride your coat tails so #### much they might as well be the same team.

Since that will be an easy win. Chris Petersen game planning for a national championship game would make it tough and a lot closer. But playing Bama...we'll win that one by 2 or 3 TDs.

Washington would be easier but I would say most Tiger fans want Bama. ESPN and the coots ride their bandwagon, that way we could shut up all the SEC crap and beat Bama as a revenge on the way to a title. I'm a strong believer to be the best you have to beat the best and by beating the tide we would do all of college football a favor.

I would rather play BAMA ! To be the man you have got to beat the man ! We came close last year, but in the end came up a few points shy. We have the talent. That's for sure !

Though, it could be argued that our defense matches up better with Bama's offense.
It doesn't matter to me.

I definitely agree that Clemson has the best chance to beat Bama this year. You guys have a really good team. Our defense is better this year (which is surprising even to us Bama fans). I'm not sure that your offense is as good as it was last year though (though I could be wrong about that). Our offense is probably about as good as last year just with different personnel. Many think that us playing a true freshman at QB will be our Achilles heel but he has definitely shown a lot of maturity this year. I look for that to be a really great game if both of our teams makes the final...

Bama. You don't accidentally stumble into a Championship. First you have to have the mentality of a Champion. Champions WANT to face Champions.
First things first. Ohio St won't lay down in any way, shape or form. My biggest concern about them is Urban Meyer with a month to game plan. I think Urban Meyer could teach a turtle to tap dance in one month. We'll see, it'll be a challenge, but Champions wouldn't have it any other way.

I can't put a finger on it but they just do. Maybe I feel like if Clemson had to face Washington, the team will overlook them and think it'll be a walk in the park whereas there'll be a sharper focus if they had to face Alabama.

Washington statistically matches up pretty closely with Bama. Of course, Statistics have never won a game though. Washington plays in a much weaker conference and even their non-conference opponents are pretty weak. I guess some of Bama's were too though. I am somewhat concerned that our players might take Washington for granted. Hopefully Saban will have them focused and dialed in to play their best...
