Really, I don't see that being bulletin board material after they have failed at getting an education that was 100% free to them. This saying that 59% of UGA's student athletes turned their backs on the greatest gift that they'll ever be offered to them again for free. I totally agree with Munson about it being an embarrassment...
There are hundreds of thousands of young men and women that would take that opportunity with 95% of them finishing college with a degree in their hand. And that ladies and gentlemen would equal a lot smarter American population that would also lead to America being a much smarter country.

Does anyone know how graduation rates are even calculated? Is it simply measured by those who enrolled in the university and whether or not they graduated? If so, what happens when a program has a high rate of players leaving early for the portal or the NFL? Does that count against them as students who didn't graduate?
It just seems like an odd time, with one day before the game, to be taking issue with graduation rates. Might be better if Munson actually focused on the tangibles and intangibles of the game about to be played.
Somehow, I can't help but think most fans on either side aren't really worried about graduation rates right now.

Let's also not pretend that all of our athletes are taking the "hard classes" or "majors".
This stat is heckn skewed.
I am proud of how we graduate but I'd rather win football games.
We do it the right way, but let's prove that it's the right way on Saturday.

Many CU players would not get admitted without their football skills. I expect the 41% doesn't include players who graduate after they transfer to another school, or get such big NFL contracts that they don't need a degree. And contrary to popular belief, most NFL stars don't need a sheepskin. They only need an accountant. And with the NFLPA, these days very few of them are "broke after 10 years".
CFB overall is a flawed system, and there's no hay to be harvested by throwing UGA under the bus.
Always compliment your own program, let the other team comment on their program.
"Our very own" Jeff Francouer doesn't have a degree. I think he's doing ok.
