call-in-shows after a Football loss was brutal but hilarious to listen to and now I'm listening to the Kentucky Basketball call-in-show on station out of Lexington,KY and their fans are fed up and ready for a change,even the call in host is saying it's time for John Calipari to step down.Usually call in host hold back on saying anything negative about a head coach,not this guy though as he is calling for this to be coach Cal's final season.

The call in host just now said that Kentucky Basketball and John Calipari are the #1,#2 and #3 trends going on right now online,saying there is more talk about this than what is going so far tonight in the tournament as well as tomorrow

Yeah, I was hearing a lot of frustration about the lack of recent success with Calipari. They made the elite 8 in 2019, then of course the tournament was cancelled for covid in 2020. Kentucky didn't make the tournament in 2021, lost in the first round to St. Peters in 2022 (you might remember the Peacocks' were the Cinderella team that year), lost in the second round to Kansas State in 2023, and have now lost to Oakland in the first round of 2024. Not exactly a great job in the last 4 seasons, especially not by Kentucky standards. Only 1 NCAAT win in 4 years. And with now 2 massive first round upsets against them in a span of 3 years. People were already unhappy as it was before this loss, and they were saying Kentucky needed to make a final four this year. I can only imagine what Kentucky fans are saying now, but I'm sure they've got the pitchforks out big time. This is their second giant postseason embarrassment in 3 years. I'd be shocked if Calipari isn't fired after this.

1-4 in their last few trips to the Tourney, along with a losing record and MISSING it in 2019. Standards there are obviously MUCH higher than here.

Yea was reading on here BB should be happy he met expectations which were to make the tourney. No mention of wins needed in either the ACC or the NCAA’s. Unreal
I guess if those are the expectations we are going no where.

I believe there is a little luck in these one and done recruiting programs and he has not been as fortunate as years past.
