We take all the kids for the games they open the upper deck bc I’m UDP and it’s cheap. The other games the wife and I get great seats but they ain’t cheap.

Interesting factoid, I heard the MLB wants to add two teams and both Nashville and Charlotte are in the mix, but they prob wouldn’t give them both one so will be interesting to see who gets it.
Both cities really support their teams so it will be a tight race.

Charlotte isn't a sports city of any measure. Sure, they have some teams there, and usually they'll give 110% towards eventually frustrating and disappointing you. Charlotte is a Thirsty Beaver city. It's the only true institution in the entire metro area upon which any hats should be hung.

Went to The Evening Muse last night to see a band from Nashville.

The Muse has never been a bar, always been a straight-up listening room but last night was filled with the perfect example of the very young hipster contingent you speak of. 60% of the room is watching through a phone screen raised up to make a recording they'll never sit down and watch. Another 20% is lined against the bar or the walls to be seen striking that perfect posture of cool indifference. The remaining 20% were actually there to hear a very good up-and-coming rock and roll band. The Muse used to be one of the places that defied that hipster element, but the world is changing I guess, and not for the better.
