These two points by the Attorneys tell me all I need to know

about the NCAA and their stupidity
first specifically about the players and their claims of not knowing where it came from
"Their assertions were confirmed by a polygraph examination taken by each."
Then previous issues with ostarine at the World Level:
"As part of the appeal, the student-athletes presented statements from scientific experts which confirmed that the very low levels detected in December 2018 were indicative of contamination of legitimate products. A medical review committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) recently recommended that in cases such as this, no positive findings be made. Similarly, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has, in recent months, lifted the previously imposed suspensions against five athletes who tested positive for trace levels of Ostarine."

Incredibly bad decision by the NCAA. There is no deterrent value here whatsoever. Any sensible petson would suspect a different agenda when 2 young men are harmed needlessly.

The level of dopes working in the NCAA outweighs the science of the World Anti Doping Agency unfortunately

Sue them in civil court where punitive damages for the players can be astronomical, and with a jury and just these statements alone from the Drug agencies they will win.

Very true. I hate to see Clemson's name associated with lawsuit against the NCAA. In this case I don't think the players have been given much choice.

Wait til it happens to Alabama

and the appeal is granted. Then they will say "there was insufficient data in 2018 regarding contamination...now we have better info"

Who knows that it didn’t happen to bama. Never heard anything more about the two or three players that were suspended. Seems to me it just kind of vanished... unless I just missed it, I couldn’t tell you what it was about.
Agree, players ought to sue in civil court. Crazy!

But poly’s are relatively easy to beat so I don’t put a lot of stock in those. Although I don’t think our guys did anything wrong, either.

since criminals fail them all the time but I do get your point, but it should have some effect on the thought process at least in my mind.
I agree the answer can't be based solely on the test but it is at least an indicator in my mind.

So college kids are dumb now?

And they didn’t hire a lawyer that could coach them? It’s not rocket surgery, even a Steelers fan would have at least a 50/50 chance at beating it.

the staff provides most of these supplements so it is entirely possible that a staff member couple provide a banned substance and the player take it with no knowledge.
