Have me buy enough numbers to have all but 6 possible numbers and select those 6- it has been a long time since I have had even one number to match no matter how many quick picks I buy

A group did that once for a Powerball drawing, spent millions but won over 800 million. It works unless several others hit the number as well. No chance to win unless you buy a ticket but .. the odds are astronomical to win.

I am just talking about buying enough quick picks until I have all the numbers that can be on a ticket until there are only 6 single-digit numbers left that I did not get - then choose those 6 on another ticket because I am so unlucky that I never even match any of those drawn. Even if I had the right 6 numbers, I would need to buy 6 more numbers to make sure the right number would be in the last position one time.

1 - how would you fill out that many tickets?
2 - where would you come up with the $600M to buy the tickets?
3 - you'd lose money to taxes
4 - you'd lose A LOT of money if there is >1 matching ticket
Nobody has ever bought every possible combination. It's nearly impossible to do, even if you had the money.

Clover, I broke down and bought 7 quick picks yesterday, the first time I have played in years. Out of all the numbers I only had one number (7). The morale of this story is that I #issed away 21 bucks.

I bought 5 tickets and did not match a single number - that is why I am saying if I had every number but 6 of the possible numbers on my selections , they would be the winning ones.

I buy one ticket, and for the $2 or $3 I spend I get to dream for 5 minutes of what I'd be able to do or not do.
Then back to real life.

Your chances of winning are pretty much the same whether you buy a ticket or not. On the other hand your chance of winning if you buy a ticket is 50-50: you either win or you don’t.
