Xavier McKinney / recruiting tidbit

I guess many of you have seen that 4-star safety Xavier McKinney of Roswell (GA) decommitted from Bama today. He is a teammate of LeAnthony Williams and former teammate of Clemson linebacker Tre Lamar. But.....he's also good friends with several of Clemson's commits Amari Rodgers and Tee Higgins, and A.J. Terrell (who Clemson has a great shot to land).
I texted one of our commits and asked if he saw the tweet, and he said yes, and then said he's already working on McKinney (and has been). Clemson in great position here, because DB coach Mike Reed has also kept in constant contact with McKinney. This is about to get fun

Would be a great plus to get him here and have him around Lamar, LeAnthony, and other commits/prospects he's friends with.

I've heard the coaches have backed off of Jamyest for some reason. One CB in addition to Williams and then one or two S depending on who they are

Thanks! I figured so here's to hoping its AJ at corner and I like CJ at Saftey. I believe/hope he commits soon and leaves it between Devon Jeffery and now Xavier.
