Consider For a Moment The Following Scenario

Let's work off some presumptions I have:
1) Cade is our future QB. Time of coronation unknown 2) Dabo and staff pretty much know when it is going to happen, but must maintain team integrity 3) If you have the luxury of grooming Cade with DJ taking all the heat and media attention for even another month, you would absolutely do so. 4) Every single day of practice and exposure Cade gets before the team is his is critical 5) Once Cade becomes "the guy" the media spotlight and pressure become insane. 6) Once you pull DJ, Hunter becomes your backup as DJ most likely for a number of reasons won't be the answer
I believe the coronation date is 1st series at Wake Forest so he gets a full game of big time ball before NCSU at home. I may be wrong and Dabo may ham & egg his way through those games, scaring the heck out of the fans then making the change to have Cade ready for ND and Miami

his way through those games" . . . . .
Now it just doesn't make any sense.

Similar to Kelly Bryant's situation, if Dabo and coaches "know" the inevitable, they would make the move before Game 5 as a courtesy to DJ as to potential save him a year of eligibility. Man, certainly wouldn't want to be in Dabo's shoes. Easy as a fan to make the move, but we don't have to sit across the desk and deliver the bad news. But just like in business, it's nothing personal, it part of Dabo's fiduciary responsibility to put the University in the best position to win championships.

If (or more likely when) Dabo makes that move, I too am

convinced he will do DJ the solid of it being before he burns this year of eligibility. He would have two years left to play in that scenario. You might think this is ludiculous, but I could see DJ playing for The Pirate at Mississippi State. Leach doesn't run his QB's much, he is more of a pro-set guy. That would suit DJ to a "T".

My question is when our next king of QB gets here next year will the wolves howl when the current king misses a pass. This is just dumb. All in or all out.

Absolutely, if Cade had the same QBR, stats, completion %, TD/INT ratio. Absolutely. Noticed there was no howling when TL backed up DW.
