The deal is clemson is done at rb and wr unless they deem a project over sign worthy. Hines was not deemed worthy. That's way he is at Duke this weekend and not clemson.

Man, that definitely SUCKS, especially if mccloud is a lean to the ghyeturds...I wonder when cain will get his fifth star per rivals ans esecpn...shouldn't we have an extra scholarship, since ono of our guys (muse) will probably go straight pro in baseball anyway?

Cain is reportedly doing very well at the next camp

So maybe after this one some of those "experts" slow to boost him will finally have no choice.
This is the link to the camp, but I noticed some positive social media comments about him today that are probably not here. http://www.footballuniversity.org/

There are a number of guys that would be "nice" to get

Including Hines or McCloud. But if we have to take extra, right now wouldn't it be better to keep building the O and D lines?
We aren't shallow at WR with Scott, Trevion, Kitt, etc. coming up and with Cain in the class. I'd even call Bell a good get for now. And we aren't shallow at RB with Gallman/Dye ready (??) and Choice in the wings.
No doubt we may need to refocus for 2016. Tavien Feaster is one we need to get. And friends have told me they think some tall kid from Rabun (GA)would make a great WR and I think he does have an offer from us. Warner? Don't remember.

I mean, I DO understand the ol/dl takes, no question, but as far as the wr/rb deal, I like a lot of what we have, but we don't really have a quick twitch, home run guy other than Artavis Scott imo. Hines is a tavon austin type, and if nothing else, lol I don't want to have to play AGAINST him...our receivers are nice, but a lot look like possession guys...anyway, I'm CERTAINLY not an expert, and I trust our staff...GO TIGERS!

Good points. And I too trust our coaches to put energy

where it is most productive. For them it might be hard to justify much additional effort - meaning visits and not just letters and tweets, etc. - into a guy that doesn't help the line just to keep him from being taken by another.
Cain may end up being better than Hines. And they may be banking on that, too.
Many teams with balanced offenses have won with "just" good possession receivers, too.

Someone gave you wrong info. The staff really likes Hines and Hines will visit before the summer is out. Hines is one of the most offensive explosive player with the ball in his hand in the south. Not saying hes gonna be a Tiger but kid is definitely a take. That's why he's tending Clemson without even a visit yet. Let the summer pass before you dismiss the kid as a none take. Trust me the staff really likes Hines.

The staff likes him but likes McCloud more.

However with McCloud losing whatever good sense the Good Lord gave him and planning on going to UF, at least as of right now, Hines definitely would be a take in the spot we were saving for McCloud, they are similar players.

I'm no coach. But, from what I've seen, I would take Hines over McCloud.

I'm pretty selfish, I want them BOTH! Haha, it probably won't happen, but good LORD, the things we could do with all of THOSE athletes...I have MY wish list, but for the most part, I'm through doubting our staff's ability tk evaluate...the coaches have proven ME wrong way more than vice versa...GO TIGERS!
