weekend. said the coaches gave different color jerseys to the scout team by position to help D guys id and do their assignments. probably would be helpful with a team like GT.

Not suggesting our coaches do this as they probably already do something similar. Just thought it was an interesting technique for practice

assignment then whats it worth. The triple option is about being in position, yes, but I don't think thats been the problem as much as being man handled once we get there.

Thats what I hope our guys get this time. Getting there is only half the assignment. Get there and fight off the blocker. I sometimes feel like i watch our guys get blocked and just stay blocked with minimal effort to fight through it...its like they're saying, hey coach I got there but what i'm I supposed to do when I'm getting blocked?

Thats the competitve aspect that BV mentioned that he hopes these guys have..taking getting blocked personally and striving to win and not being beat. But you can't teach that..thats attitude and grit that comes from within.

I know at the end of the game you get tired and thats what GT's offense is built for....wearing you down so that at the end you pop that 60 yarder for a nail in the coffin TD. We gotta get a lead early and hold on at the end. Turnovers woudl help too.
