are today. The intensity and disciplined play they show convinces me that our success from 2015-2021 was due to Elliott and Veneables. It was not Dabo and with the changes in college football since then and Dabo’s resistance to it, we are really in a very bad spot.

Well, I see your point, but isn’t it Dabo that hired, empowered and managed them? I think that is the key part of being a great leader, and great leaders surround themselves with people smarter than them, and empower them…. It takes an entire team, not one person to achieve greatness…
So I think back then, that was Dabo’s MO, and he was just as much responsible for the success…

in a number of unqualified coaches. While at first blush, Garrett appeared exceptionally qualified it now seems his prior success at TCU and SMU may have been due to Dykes. It begs the question as to just who was calling the plays for those offenses.

It is understandable that it would take a few years to do that. If yon watch those two programs it seems that they are both adapting to it and their play on the field shows it.

2021: DJU 2022: DJU 2023: Cade in development. 2024: Cade played great. Defense sucked. 2025: Cade is mentally gone so far.
That’s it. It’s funny how all these narratives get invented everyday while the elephant in the room gets ignored.
Until we have great QB play we will not be great. That’s football 101.

Cade didn’t play well last year. Cade played against a cupcake schedule last year with a bunch of inflated numbers. So stop with your stupidity

Dabo doesn't have any quality #2 QB to come in and challenge the starter. He can't admit he was wrong.
If Dabo used the portal to bring in good QB's in both examples we wouldn't be having these problems.

Virginia took 19 players from the transfer portal. Oklahoma took 15 players from the transfer portal this last cycle.

Then why did it take both coaches reaching the win this year or your gone position in their programs.
It seems that Dabo cannot catch a break after 17 years or success and the start of one bad year.
I pointed out on Tigernet in 2017 and 2018 that outside forces like NIL, players transferring from program to program and some coaches doing most anything to win. Example: Michigan !! Teams building 1 win seasons like LSU. Brian Kelly knew he could not lose another opening game. So he bought a team for 2025.
Let’s see if BV or TE are still head coaches of Oklahoma and Virginia next year !! The season is far from over.
A lot of the newbie’s on Tigernet or either trolls, coot fans or Clemson fans who have gone nuts. I am talking about fare weathered fans who jump on the bus when we are winning and jump off during the difficult times. !!!!!!!!
