Life Lesson For Kelly Bryant

Yesterday should … I repeat, should … serve as a life lesson for KB. Not everything in life goes your way, but you just can't always pick up your marbles and go home. We watched yesterday as our worst fears were realized and TL went down; however, Chase Brice stepped in and rose to the occasion … and became the hero. Uh … that could have been you, but you very selfishly abandoned your team. Had you reluctantly accepted the coaches' decision, embraced the concept of "team" and prepared yourself for the unexpected, in all likelihood you would have been the starting QB next week against Wake. The twists and turns in life are funny that way! Please file this away for future reference.

Yes, the twist and turns in life are funny, but what is even funnier is you are not in Kelly's shoes. He made, for"him", the decision "he "needed to make, not the one "you" think he should have made. Maybe you need to file that away for future references. You do not know everything thing that went on unless of course, you were the proverbial fly on the wall. And I don't think you were!

Making a decision that is best for yourself

doesn’t mean acting like a d-bag. This is what has most fans bent and is why so many have lost respect for Bryant.

Ever thought his comments were just a gut reaction, and that he didn't think things thru. Look, I'm not defending the guy, his decision, or his actions, but no one on this site has a clue as to what really went down last week unless they were there. Kelly did what "HE," thought he needed to do, and what was best for him. If he felt he was being treated "unfairly" that's for him to decide, not" us". What happened is over and done with. As Dabo said he is thru talking about it. Why aren't we?

Then retract the statement.

If he spoke in anger and now wishes he had thought before speaking - retract your statement.
The world is built on second chances.
In the modern world of social media, he has tons of options and methods to retract his statement and simply say it was made in haste.
Did he?????

The simple fact remains, Leftie

That KB could have simply asked the staff to not play him against Syracuse unless the unthinkable happened. It's not like he was rushing off to another school this weekend...or headed anywhere else. KB could have garnered more good will by sticking around another week...at least through the bye week, even, before making a decision. He chose not to...and paid a very painful price in terms of his reputation going forward. Transferring isn't what will hurt him...how he handled it is the dagger.

and he was just flipping the rotation. we had been coming out flat alot. when trevor entered we had a spark. Now for the game yesterday, we came out flat. Maybe when coach saw this he inserts Bryant back in and we thrive. Maybe the rotation gets flipped back. We'll never know because he quit.

You are so correct and that is the problem. Your team, your brothers come first, Not yourself. If he goes through life always making decisions for himself, he will never be successful and happy long term.

Leftie … you just don't get it do you? If every player did what was in their respective best interests, you would have anarchy. But then, your very name … Leftie … pretty much explains why you're so stupid!

Anarchy! Political distress. And you call me stupid. Leftie is only a nickname because I am left-handed? But you probably thought it implied something else, you "moron".

Actually, given your position on KB's actions, any right-thinking person could connect the dots that link your nickname and your stupidity. Perhaps you should consider another nickname, or wearing a bowtie, or using small, round eyeglasses in an attempt to make yourself appear smarter; however, these things would likely be for naught if you continue posting obvious stupid things on Tnet.

So you are telling me that the best decision for him was to be watching his old team on TV instead of being there and reclaiming his spot on a top 4 team? Asking for a friend.

some are good and some are bad.
In either case, you have to live withose consequences.

On the flip side, if KB had started one more game, he would have been the one in the medical tent the second quarter, just like last year. Then Trevor would have come in and Chase wouldn't have had the chance to step up.
Let's pray our QB's (and other players) stay healthy & safe from here on out.
