Exactly. I can't think of anything that would be much mote counterproductive. Let's face it, if the ACC were to have a voice anyone would listen to this just k wouldn't have happened to begin with.

No, here is my better plan:
FSU travels to the bowl destination and the players enjoy all of the bowl festivities. Then, the day of the game, their alumni association announces a large party/gathering for all of the fans who purchased a ticket that starts at the same time as the game. When the fans arrive, they are greeted by all of the FSU football roster, eat dinner with them, and play various games.
Meanwhile, ESPN is befuddled. FSU hasn’t shown up and all of the advertisers are calling corporate demanding their money back or else face numerous lawsuits. Additionally ESPN has sunk tons of money in camera setup, personnel, tv time allotments, and more that they can’t recover.
Rinse and repeat this for all other ACC teams that wish to participate. Pretend you are playing then have a giant party instead. Do this enough times and you could financially ruin parts of college football. Let’s go NUCLEAR BABY!!
