What is the greatest gamecock epic fail you have ever seen?

Either in person or on television? There are so many !
Here are my favorites.
1. 63-17. Tommy let the Tigers feast for 60 minutes !
2. Losing to Navy. Ohhhh noooo ! We suck again !
3. 56-7. Dabo shows mercy.
4. Losing to Citadel......twice !
5. 0-11. Enough said !

They threw a huge party because they were told that they were in the tourney, only to not get their named called. They cleared out of there like it was they 3rd quarter of a football game.

calling them off. At Danny, too . when we popped them 45 to O. More so, at Tommy because the Coots had Loose Boltz at the helm. I really liked Coppin State putting a whipping on them and that bunch of Cajuns from Lafayette , La. taking them out in the home regional several years ago.

has got to be in the top 10 in my mind.
Two plus-sized, middle-aged #### fans wore garnet shirts with "USC four LSU" on the front and were caught on camera during the Clemson/LSU bowl game. They didn't look too happy at the end of the game... LOL!

One of my favorites are sadly marred by the brawl but in 2004 they talked #### at the bottom of the Hill and then this happened... Go to around 5:30 in the video

Casually watching this game right now and holy hell these Refs did a TERRIBLE job keeping the game under control. Flags could have been thrown for #### after the play on both sides several times. They allowed it to escalate until the point of the brawl.

Other thoughts
Cool to see Swinney chewing on receivers at 59:15
Also these games were boring... the football was slow.... was it just because both teams were generally untalented?

Didn't they lose 21 in a row during LOUser Holtz tenure over multiple seasons? An SEC record.
Isn't the 56-7 loss the SEC record for the biggest loss to an ACC team?

Have to add the 2012 Gamecock football program

Was the best collection of talent ever assembled in Columbia coached by the winningest coach in their history and won NOTHING except a 2nd tier bowl game. Biggest choke job ever. They will never see a team with that much talent in Columbia ever again.

In 2002, the fumble at the 1 yard line against Georgia with 20 seconds left. Epic!!

SCar in 1972 ACCBB tourney loss under Maguire. I was TAPS Senior Staff and their annual was printed by same company we used. We saw their galley proofs. They had reserved 5 pages for the NCAABB tourney. Those pages had to be left blank in the final printing.
Maguire pushed for SCar leave to the ACC
Epic _fail x2

the 1984 upset by Navy, and it's not even close...

Clemson had won the nat'l title in 1981, and this was "their turn". They were 9-0 and ranked #2 in the nation, and only had to beat lowly Navy to get an Orange Bowl invite and play for the nat'l title. Navy was 3-5-1 and decimated by injuries, including their star RB Napoleon McCallum, a two time All American. In other words, SCAR was expected to blow them out. In fact, SCAR was so sure they were playing for the nat'l title in the Orange Bowl, they turned down an invite to the Sugar Bowl earlier that week.
Not only did they not blow out injury-riddled Navy, they didn't even lose close. NAVY BLEW THEM OUT. Navy was up 38-7 before SCAR scored a couple of meaningless TDs late to make it 38-21.
Everything went down the tubes that day. No major bowl bid, no nat'l title shot... nothing. They ended up losing in the Gator Bowl...

1. Their last loss to Citadel. 2. Hiring Muschamp 3. Ruining the reputation of two hall of fame coaches.

I personally liked the butt whipping cam Newton put on them in the sec title game in 2011. It was something like 56 to 14.
