Definitely a big drop off after #3 but I would put Doak right up there with Lane. DV the clear winner of course.

Obviously, the authors of this and every other sports article ever wish to find favor in the eyes of the almighty gods of the universe, the SEC. Not that they're biased, or anything; I'd never accuse them of that.

Dude, you need to get a grip. Clemson's stadium and atmosphere is great. As good as there is in college football. But every school in the SEC has that type of atmosphere except maybe KY and Vandy.
I've been to Clemson many times. I have also been to TN, AL, Aub, USC, Ark, UGA, and FL. They all have great college football atmospheres. To try and say one is better than the other is just differences of opinion. They are all great. Never been to Texas A&M but they have a great reputation too.
Stadiums by attendance 2012.

Having been to both, NCSU has a much nicer facility! UNC's stadium was horrible. I am tall and the seat backs in the seat in front of me were literally touching my knees making it extremely uncomfortable! I hated it!

Agree with #1, but some changes...

Death Valley sits high atop the ACC, but I'd switch Doak Campbell and Lane...you have to respect the size of FSU's home, with it's 75,000+ war chanting and Chief Osceola riding out on his horse. I've been there several times; it's quite impressive. Not to mention they have FAR better weather than Lane, which is simply too small to be #2, imo.
Also, Bobby Dodd should be 26th. Out of 14. I hear they've passed ordance that disallows fans from cheering or moving at all during games, for fear that the place will collapse.

Agreed.
FSU's stadium is impressive. It feels bigger than Death Valley. (especially when the fan base is doing the chop)
I think Clemson's history and tradition of the rock/hill set it apart from the rest of college football though.

atmospheres.
If you're going to compare everyone to a whole conference, then DO IT. SEC = Selective Enforcement Conference (for the media and the NCAA).
