I'd have to pick that one. Took us to a place we'd never expected, and was ultimately responsible for all that followed, imo. If that play hadnt happened, Watson might have played for UGA.

That and Artavis Scott play was good too. I thought Renfrow was going to have a short gain and kept spinning away from the defender and scores the TD. The catch from Mike Williams giving pony rides for defenders was great too.

I agree for what it meant, but on that drive, the best catch was hands down the catch by Jordan Leggett to get us down to the ten yard line. Williams also had an amazing catch a couple plays before that. But, for the win, the rub and catch by Renfrow was the one everyone will remember.

Rod Gardner had a great non-called push-off vs the Cooters to seal the game winning field goal by Hunt in 2000 for the "Catch 2" from Woody D.

All great catches, hard to pick one so will just say blessed to witness &experience all of them. Jordan Legettte catches are the most underrated though along with Mike Williams on game winning drive.

This one. ^^^. Program changing. If not, no LSU win. No momentum into 2013. For years this play, this drive and this game were considered the point Clemson got over the hump. Watson to Renfrow was good but degree of difficulty, desperation, and impact make 4th and 16 the greatest to me. Not to mention it helped launch one of the greatest NFL pass catchers of all time.

The others mentioned are great in their own right. But honestly, those games were going to be won. Momentum was with the Tigers and there were other options that could have and would have been successful.
But a kid coming off the bench for one play, 4th & 16, game on the line, opportunity for chance at title game on line….
That is fairy tale sh!t right there.

All of these a great. Two others that get overlooked are the two long pass plays vs Maryland in 1978. Fuller to Dwight Clark (62 yds) and Fuller to Butler (87 yds). HUGE HUGE win at the time!
