Carolina fans on Saturday - what did you see?

I've had my share of obnoxious carolina fans, but was pleasantly surprised Saturday. We had quite a few in Lot 2, but they were nice and friendly and gracious after the game.
In the stands, I sat beside 2 young carolina couples and had another couple in front of us in Section N. Once they saw us standing and clapping for the timeout honorees (which I respected a lot), they started doing the same. At the end of the game, they were all about "what a game", with nothing negative to say at all.
I was a little shocked, but felt there is hope in the world. Thank goodness for a noon game.

Same here. I have been going to the game since the 70's and this year was best experience I've ever had with those dirtpeckers.

It's because the coaches have brought the rivalry down. It's good.... I guess. But unfortunately the Clemson players have also brought the rivalry down.

The ones around us were fine, but who let those jaggaloons on he field with then baby mask and belt whipping the paw? Those are the type of degenerate South Carolina fans I’m used to dealing with

That’s what happens when both schools start admitting a large percentage of students from up north. The rivalry just doesn’t have the juice it once did. It used to be brother against brother. Cousin against cousin. Neighbor against neighbor. Not so much anymore. It’s a different world.

Do you have job? Why are you on a Clemson forum? Go read a book if you don’t have a job. Or back on your forums and talk about how great Carolina football is, and how great the town of Columbia is.

Theres not much else that you can say about an ole fashioned Clemson
USUC game,When the game is over I guess we just shake hands and say
see you next year.Lets not forget after winning or losing,its just
a game and not worth getting BP high.Disappointing for us but we
will move on and the days will be better.Go Tigers,beat them Ponies.

I tailgated near some of their fans both young and old actually had a really good time. There was no smack talk before or after the game. They were happy they won but didn’t rub it or get obnoxious.

Me and my 65 year old dad got called a “pzzy @ ss biotch” by a group of Carolina fans in a truck on perimeter road. Other than that and outside of the idiots with a belt on the field, who really did look like they were in some weird religious cult, they were fine.
