Coaches never want to fill a guy's head... The only issue

I have with O'Brien was the fact that he didn't name DW starter when he was clearly head and shoulders better than Savage. But even our beloved Dabo has been known to value tenure over talent and give the nod to the veteran (at least for a few games).

Yeah God forbid a coach actually do what is right...

not all coaches are like him...THANK GOD!

Have had bosses like that....all A holes.

O'Brien came from the Belichick tree, he will not pump up anyone's tires. I wouldn't worry about it, he clearly loves DW4 and so does the team. O'Brien is most famous for telling Tom Brady to shut the f up on national tv, he's pretty no nonsense. The fact that he went with Watson after 2 qtrs tells you all you need to know

Ummm, here's his HC said after the gamey yesterday

Oct 2, 2017, 5:24 PM

"He really can throw the football," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said after the game. "He's a very accurate passer. He's got big hands. He can really sling it. He's a very smart runner. Runner is not all about speed. It's about instincts and understanding how plays are being blocked and understanding the defense that you're seeing to kind of weave your way through."

"He sees the game pretty well," O'Brien said. "He's seeing a lot of different things: third-down blitzes for the first time, red-area things for the first time. I think he's making smart decisions."
