I see this is not wanting to risk their confidence in a game that doesn't matter too much in the end. I don't know if a good idea or not.

none of the best arms are used. I think the pitching is simply getting tired. Not having to use guys the rest of the weekend could be a good thing, maybe.

Redbirds with Teeth desperately trying to sneak in the playoffs. Last 4 in/last 4 out status.


We will be a top 8 seed. All the "pundits" say top 6 are locks, only 7 and 8 up for grabs.
Clemson #6 unless maybe FSU wins ACC and drops us to 7.
Nobody else could pass us.
Almost all the top teams have sucked in conf tourneys

The last spot in the top-eight seeds is going to go down to the finish. I think that the first seven seeds are pretty well locked in. But that still leaves one malleable spot. I’m sticking with Georgia, which is already sitting at home after losing its opener Tuesday in Hoover. But the Bulldogs left the door pretty wide open for an ACC team – Florida State, NC State or Virginia – to grab that spot. NC State may have taken itself out of contention with that loss to Duke. Florida State plays Virginia on Friday in Charlotte and the winner will advance to the ACC Tournament semifinals.
